Role Overview:
The Equipment & Facility Coordinator is a hands-on working leadership position responsible for the daily readiness, organization, accountability, and operational support of the facility, fleet, equipment, tools, inventory, and supplies.
Success in this position is measured by minimal preventable downtime. Maintaining a safe, organized, and production-ready operation. This includes having assets and materials prepared, maintained, accounted for and any deficiencies are resolved in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
· Own the daily readiness, cleanliness, and organization of the equipment, inventory, and other operational spaces in accordance with company standards.
· Adjust operational priorities throughout the day based on changing crew, project, equipment, and management needs.
· Coordinate with field leadership and management to confirm that required assets, tools, and operational supplies are available and properly prepared for current and upcoming projects.
· Manage and maintain inventory, levels of consumables, materials and shop supplies by doing weekly checks on stock levels.
· Own the operational readiness, organization, documentation, tracking, and accountability of company vehicles, equipment, and other assigned assets.
· Evaluate vehicle and equipment availability against upcoming scopes of work and coordinate with the Lead Mechanic to prioritize repairs according to safety and operational urgency.
· Maintain timely and accurate communication with management, field crews and vendors.
· Identify and take ownership of operational opportunities by developing solutions, presenting recommendations and following through on implementation.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
· Valid Driver’s license (CDL Class A preferred)
· Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds
· Excels at supporting operations, fleet coordination, or heavy equipment management.
· Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
· Understanding of preventive maintenance and mechanical workflows.
· Proficiency with digital tracking tools preferred (Samsara, Autoleap, Sortly, Asana)
Success Metrics
· Maintain an organized and clean shop while supporting the field crews.
· Accurately track and stock inventory items to ensure fleet readiness and project efficiency.
· Addressing any asset or resource issues in real time and providing recommended solutions.
· Consistent communication with management and crew to support projects and reduce waste.
Compensation:
· $28.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
