Are you ready to make the career you have been looking for?Hauling Responsibilities:Perform inspections of vehicles, equipment, and accessories such as tire, lights, turn signals and brakes.Experience with loading equipment and ensuring it is properly loaded and secured according to safety requirements.Communicate with others using communication devices such as two-way radio.Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment.Report any problems to your manager as soon as possible.Perform daily pre & post-trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies.Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment, refer major problems to the supervisor.Must keep truck in a clean and orderly condition.Hauling Requirements:Must have a valid CDL driver license.Proven work experience as a truck driver.Good driving record.Must have oversize load (width, length, and height) hauling experience.Detach Trailer Experience highly preferredMust be able to travel overnight occasionally. Most trips will be day trips.Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather, conditions, etc.)Knowledge of applicable trucking driving rules and regulations.Ensure safe transportation and delivery of freight to designated locations.Inspect assigned vehicle regularly to identify and report any repairs or maintenance needed.
