POSITION SUMMARY
- Inspects in-bound tractors and trailers to identify operating and DOT defects, ensuring safety and compliance.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts thorough inspections of tractors, trailers, reefers, and tires.
- Records identified defects in the maintenance system.
- Communicates identified defects to the driver and shop personnel to administer repairs.
- Maintains positive relationships with shop staff and drivers.
- Receives and carries out instructions.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned
