Equipment Installer

About Us: Bernick's is a 5th generation family-owned provider of beverages, vending and food solutions, representing leading brands such as Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Miller Brewing Company and New England Coffee. We service locations in greater MN and western WI.

Job Summary: Equipment Installers are responsible for providing direct service, repair, and install to Bernick's portfolio of equipment such as Vending Machines, Fountain Equipment, Ice Machines - Air and Water Cooled, Coolers, Coffee Equipment and Frozen Beverage Equipment. Brands we service include Bunn, Curtis, True, Beverage-Air, Manitowoc, Scotsman, Cornelius, and National to name a few.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and successfully install Bernick's portfolio of equipment
• Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance visits, as well as service calls to address immediate needs
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a time sensitive manner
• Keep accurate service records and complete work orders
• May travel up to 200 miles per day to customer sites
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

• Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:00PM

• Rotating on-call with other Service Technicians is required: flexibility to be on-call approximately every 7th week/weekend (24/7)

• Additional pay when on-call

• Excellent mechanical and electrical skills, which are required to maintain and repair equipment

• Willingness to learn and ability to be trained in a time sensitive environment

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Previous service technician or maintenance experience preferred

Base Compensation:

$21-$23/hr

Potential Other Compensation (based on position eligibility):

Various bonuses, commissions, incentive pay, mileage reimbursement, etc.
