As an Equipment Maintenance 1, you will be responsible for the functions outlined below.

Essential Functions:

Work directly with Maintenance Lead in overall operation and repair of the facility and production equipment.Perform a wide variety of semiskilled maintenance work tomaintainstructures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, refrigeration, etc.Perform semiskilled maintenance work relating primarily to production equipment, including electrical, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatic, etc.Help install, teardown, and re-locate a variety of equipment.Assistwith troubleshooting,operatingand repairing equipment.Understands health and safety issues and ensures all safety procedures are followed by assignee.Maintain work order records.Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) proceduresin accordance withcompany safety standards.Able to use a multimeter.Able to read schematics.Able to replace belts and chains.Troubleshoot low and high voltage lights, receptacles, and fuses.Work on filter mist systems.Drilling, tapping, greasing, and oiling.Operate boom lift and tugger.It is essential the employee reports to work on time on scheduled workdays andmaintainsgood workattendance.It is essential the employee work scheduled mandatory overtime hours.Job rotation isrequiredwhere applicable;provide superior customer service at all times.Able to use Microsoft Office.Responsible fordemonstratingcommitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles,policiesand procedures.Participates in the company’s efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair andequitabletreatmentand a positive work environmentOther responsibilities asdeemedappropriateor necessary by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment and/or equivalent combinations of education and experience sufficient to carry out the duties of this role.As may berequired, forklift driver skill and certification.Successfully complete all required training classes, either as prerequisite orselectionor for ongoing skill building.Able tooperatehand tools and power toolsrequiredto perform maintenance.Knowledge of and ability to reference NFPA 79.Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.Demonstrated ability to recognize and workin accordance withour Company Values.It is understood employees may be assigned to other departments, functional groups, and/or shifts asdeemednecessary by management.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.Requires intermittent standing, walking,sittingand bending throughout the workday.Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.Must be able to wearappropriate PersonalProtection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
