Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Engineer to support SMT/PTH/PCBA manufacturing operations. The role will focus on equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, qualification, and improving equipment uptime and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
- Support installation, calibration, qualification, and ramp-up of new equipment.
- Maintain SMT, PTH, PCBA, test equipment, and automatic component insertion machines.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Drive improvements in equipment uptime, quality, throughput, and maintenance costs.
- Support equipment-related projects and production requirements.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's preferred.
- 3+ years of manufacturing equipment maintenance/engineering experience.
- Electronics manufacturing / PCBA experience required.
- Experience with SMT, PTH, and PCBA.
- Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with automated component insertion equipment preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to travel 5 10%.
