Tekscend Photomask Round Rock, Inc. has an opportunity available for a skilled Equipment Maintenance Engineer located at our Round Rock, TX production facility. The Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for technical leadership and support within the Equipment Maintenance department of our factory. This role will be essential to supporting the manufacturing site through technical knowledge and leadership. The desired employee will be open to learning our inspection toolset within the photomask making process. This is a key role for our site and brings with it many opportunities for growth and development for the successful candidate.Key Tasks & Responsibilities:Recommends modifications and upgrades of manufacturing equipmentKeeps current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issuesStudies equipment performance and reliabilityEstablishes and Lead 5S and/or Total Productive Maintenance programsImplements FDC or other Data Analytics MethodsTracks and drives CIP for Equipment KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, Availability, OEE)Deploys creative problem solving to replace obsolete systemsDocuments and implements programs and recommends solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing processProvides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organization. Supports or leads efforts of establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing processSupports or leads the definition and implementation of preventative maintenance schedulesDefines and writes preventative maintenance schedules and proceduresRequirementsMinimum of 3 years engineering experience within the Semiconductor or Electronics industryCollege degree in Engineering discipline or Physics requiredBasic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), data management and analysisAdept with PC's and common software suites (MS Office, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Electronic / Mechanical troubleshooting skillsTechnical writing skills and strong technical acumenPresentation skills on technical subjectsSound technical decision-making skillsProject Management / Scheduling skillsBusiness and technical analysis skillsDemonstrate strong 5S leadershipStrong Understanding of Pumps, Filters, Water/Chemical Heaters, and Automation RoboticsTraining / Technical Guidance skillsProduction-focused approachExcellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skillsCustomer service orientationProficient technical process management skillsSolid knowledge of:Mechanical / CAD designExperience in 3D printing is preferredFusion 360 CAD Software knowledge preferredWorking Knowledge of Chemical Delivery Units (CDUs)Multiple components of mask / mask materials manufacturing technologyClean room operationsISO 9000 standardsQuality Systems (CP, FMEA, 8D, etc.)System / UNIX
