Job Summary: Support Equipment Maintenance for Manufacturing and Engineering throughout the company. This includes, but not limited to, corrective and preventative maintenance, equipment selection and installation, and continuous improvement. Also includes maintaining assigned spare parts in an organized manner. Individual is self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Essential Functions:
Preventative and Corrective maintenance, including repair and assembly of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and high vacuum equipment for Manufacturing and Engineering.
Read and follow both written and oral instruction, including procedures, drawings, schematics, etc.
Document work performed.
Maintain required stock levels of spare parts, modules, and supplies. Assist with parts ordering and shipping for repairs.
Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with departments.
Write procedures for scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance.
Participate in equipment selection and installation.
Develop documentation for projects, including drawings, schematics, and parts lists.
Trouble shooting of: Programmable Logic Controller, (PLC), Human Machine Interface, (HMI) and machine control software (Automation).
Work with Hazardous chemicals.
Works safely and maintains a safe working environment. Emergency Response Team member and off-shift safety contact.
Education and Experience:
Minimum two year technical degree in Electronics, Electrical Automation or equivalent education and experience.
At least five years' work experience in manufacturing industry, including electronic/electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, automation/controls, computer, motion, etc.
Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred, including high vacuum, sputter, plasma etch, photolithography, metrology, high purity gas delivery, etc.

Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to read/write/speak English.
Good computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office, and preferably automation software (PLC ladder logic, etc.).
Good organizational skills
Good hand-eye coordination.
Experience with basic shop tools. 8. Must be able to stand and walk for up to a 12 hour shift; required demonstrated ability to lift 35-50 lbs.
