Maintenance Technician Compensation

The pay for this position is $22.00 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Maintenance Technician Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

The required availability for this position is Sunday – Thursday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (3rd shift)

In-person interviews required

Eye exam required upon hire (must meet 20/30 vision with or without correction and/or pass color vision screening)

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment
• Respond to machine breakdowns and mechanical failures
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to speed, waste, and production performance
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs
• Maintain accurate machine logs, downtime records, and maintenance documentation
• Ensure proper operation of machinery including safety systems and quality checks
• Monitor in-process quality and perform required inspections and adjustments
• Support production operations, rework tasks, and continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain clean and safe work environment following all safety and quality standards

Maintenance Technician Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (gearboxes, cams, conveyors, pneumatics, vacuum systems, etc.)
• Experience using measuring tools such as feeler gauges, torque tools, and alignment instruments
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and SOPs
• Strong problem-solving ability in machine breakdown situations
• Ability to work 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 12am–8am)

Maintenance Technician Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive, HVAC, machining, or industrial maintenance background
• High-speed manufacturing experience
• Experience with continuous improvement or production optimization

Pre-Screening Questions (Must be able to answer):

• How do you go about troubleshooting a mechanical breakdown?
• What steps would you take to replace a gearbox?
• What process would you use to determine the root cause of a machine malfunction?
