What You Will Do
Fabricate, repair, troubleshoot, test, and maintain aircraft and avionics test equipment and test boxes
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures and implement effective corrective actions
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance
Set up, calibrate, and back up PLC programs and process parametersDocument maintenance activity and equipment data in the CMMS system
Support automation projects, equipment modifications, and spare parts requests
What You Will Bring
High School Diploma or GED required
5 years of experience with electrical controls and mechanical systems in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
A 2-year technical degree may offset 1 year of experience
Proven experience repairing and testing avionics test equipment and test boxes
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints and troubleshoot complex systems

Unique Skills:
Qualified candidates with extensive experience in fabricating, repairing, testing aircraft/avionics test equipment and test boxes. The ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting complex test equipment to determine effective solutions.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. 5 years experience working with electrical controls and mechanical applications in a manufacturing environment, to include experience working with aircraft related production, equipment in the aerospace industry. 2 year technical degree may offset one year of experience.
Position Purpose:
Under minimal supervision provides advanced experience with respect to electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems for troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades and preventative maintenance to all aircraft related production equipment.
