Equipment Maintenance Technician
Overview
Our clients test and production teams depend on a mix of custom and commercial equipment—from high-vacuum chambers and thermal systems to CNC machines and automated test stands. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, youll keep critical systems running safely, reliably, and with minimal downtime. Youll troubleshoot breakdowns, execute preventive maintenance, and help implement improvements that increase uptime and performance—directly supporting the pace and quality of spacecraft hardware builds and testing.
What Youll Do
Preventive Maintenance: Perform inspections, lubrication, calibration, and performance checks on production and test equipment
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum-related issues to restore operations quickly
Work Orders & Documentation: Track tasks, log repair history, and manage spares/consumables in a CMMS (or similar system)
Cross-Functional Support: Partner with engineers, test operators, and facilities to understand equipment usage and prevent recurring failures
Reliability Improvements: Identify failure patterns and support upgrades, rebuilds, redesigns, and root-cause fixes
Safety & Compliance: Follow LOTO, PPE, and equipment safety procedures—every time
What Were Looking For (Required)
3+ years in equipment maintenance, industrial service, or mechanical repair (manufacturing, R&D, aerospace, or similar)
