The Equipment Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facilities in accordance with safety, productivity, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of goals and objectives.

Perform periodic preventive maintenance of machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Perform highly diversified tasks to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Perform periodic preventive maintenance of machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Along with supervisors, you will assist with training on how to safely operate equipment.
Comply with safety regulations and keep work areas clean and orderly.
Must be able to build a relationship with all team members.
Maintain a clean, orderly, safe, and secure work area always and follows all established safety and quality control procedures.

Physical Demands – Office and Manufacturing Environment
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to speak through a microphone or listen for software cues or other indicators that may not be presented visually. The employee must frequently use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must stand, walk, sit, and use hands and arms to pull/push, reach, climb, or balance. Periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required. The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus are frequently required. Work Environment –
Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and a shop environment, with exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and skin exposure to chemicals used to run/maintain machines.
PPE-
Where required, must wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, & clean-room frocks while adhering to the prescribed safety procedures.
