Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician II for a Contract with a client in Hanover Park, IL. The ideal candidate with experience troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable production operations.

Rate Range: $26/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Equipment Maintenance Technician II Job Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.

• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and calibration activities in accordance with established maintenance procedures and schedules.

• Disassemble, rebuild, adjust, and reassemble manufacturing equipment using blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and repair documentation.

• Utilize diagnostic and test equipment to identify equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.

• Support equipment installation, relocation, and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

• Train and coordinate with machine operators and production personnel on equipment operation, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

• 2-5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with electro-mechanical diagnostics, equipment repair, preventive maintenance, calibration, and the use of test and measurement equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, with proficiency in troubleshooting equipment failures and supporting production operations.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $47.00 per hour
