Job description:
ROLE OVERVIEW
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment. Work independently with full
ownership of assigned tasks, minimize unscheduled downtime, and maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing
environment. This is a hands-on floor role requiring mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic expertise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment using prints, schematics, and technical manuals; assist with
machine setups as needed.
Perform scheduled PMs and reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Fabricate, assemble, and install equipment components as required.
Conduct routine safety checks; enforce lockout/tagout procedures and report compliance issues to supervisor.
Monitor equipment performance and drive proactive steps to reduce unscheduled downtime.
Log all tasks and parts usage in MP2 (CMMS) accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment per housekeeping and safety policy.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance; must meet all Mechanic I qualifications
Technical Skills Electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical repair, fabrication/welding
Shop Equipment Mills, lathes, drill presses, band saws, welders
Systems MP2 or equivalent CMMS; basic PC/keyboard proficiency
