JOB TITLE: Equipment Maintenance Technician

Summary: 

• Maintains industrial means by exploiting best practices and integrating changes of standards.

• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery, jigs, and tools to ensure readiness and availability.

• Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns.

• Uses hand and power tools, PLC, CNC, blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications.

• Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.

• Moves and places heavy equipment and installed property in correct position and accomplishes all necessary rigging.

• Obtains and delivers material and equipment necessary to support plant maintenance and repair.

• Enters and retrieves data from Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and orders parts.

• Troubleshoots electrical schematics.

• Works on automated gantry systems, PLCs, CNC machinery, and tooling fixtures; experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Fanuc.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• 2–5 years of industrial or electro-mechanical maintenance experience.

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Experience troubleshooting electrical schematics.

• Experience with industrial or automation maintenance.

• Experience with CNC or PLC systems.

• Work experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Fanuc.

• High School Diploma/GED or WorkKeys Assessment completion.

• Ability to complete training: Health & Safety, General aircraft familiarization, and Quality Training.

• Preferred: Training from a vocational school or previous employer in the use of equipment maintenance skills and practices.
