Job Duration: 12 months with Poss. of extension
Pay Rate- $22.50/Hr. on W2
Shift: 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on and 3 days off. Repeating work schedule. Monday through Sunday.
 
Job Description
 
       Responsibilities

• Operating, optimizing, and maintaining assigned production equipment
• Meeting and exceeding production standards while maintaining product quality
• Minimizing and preventing equipment downtime and sustaining budgeted waste levels
• Maintaining accurate equipment logs and recording downtime and maintenance problems
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment
• Starting up equipment and ensuring accurate functioning
• Monitoring component inventories and safety guards
• Maintaining a neat and orderly production environment
• Monitoring in-process quality and addressing issues as needed
• Performing required Q.C. checks and process challenges
• Following safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements
• Supporting upstream and downstream operations
• Performing rework as required
• Working optimally in a team environment

• Performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor

• H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. preferred
• Maintenance repair/mechanical experience or proficiency required
• 2 years of mechanical experience preferred
• 6–12 months of manufacturing experience desired
• Experience working with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics desired
• Proficient with basic hand tools
• Familiar with the following mechanical components:
  • Bushings
  • Chain drives
  • Conveyors
  • Gearboxes
  • Ball valves
• Familiar with the following electrical components:
  • Sensors
  • Photo-eyes
  • Scales
  • Reed switches
  • VFDs
• Able to work autonomously and be self-motivated
• Able to work any shift
• Must have clear and legible handwriting
