Responsibilities - Responsibole for leading the maintenance department, taking measures to maintain the equipmment fleet, and communicating any needs to the Diretor of Land Management and/or Golf Course Superintendant
- Conduct scheduled inspections of designated equipment; check and repair equipment malfunctions
- Respond immediately and resolve emergency needs/issue regarding safety/security/business requirements
- Responsibile for landscaping and grounds keeping equipment including: lawn mowing tractors, trash pick-up vehicles, weed control/tree trimming/edging equipment, golf carts, gators, etc.
- Must maintain records of maintenance schedules, hazardous material disposal, and a clean maintenance working environment
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times
- Maintain and enahance the company's image when interacting with clients, guests, associates, and vendors
- Maintain awareness of safety issues, and report them immediately
Qualifications - Proficiency with 2 & 4 stroke gasoline engines, deisel engines, electric motors, hydraulic systems, drive trains, and reel grinding
- Ability to communicate with internal and external customers to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Abilty to work with tools in a safe manner and perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
- Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- 2+ years of experience as an Equipment Techincian in a golf course setting
- Technical training through professional development training degree/certificate program preferred
