The Department of Athletics at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for an Equipment Manager for Football.
About the Opportunity
The position is responsible for assisting with the organization and management of the athletic equipment operations as assigned.

What You'll Do
The employee will be responsible 100 percent of the time for:
Perform and assist with the laundering of athletic uniforms, practice gear, towels, etc.
Repair athletic equipment and gear.
Perform fitting and issuing of athletic uniforms, apparel, protective pads and equipment.
Distribute uniforms, protective pads, shoes, balls and other equipment as requested.
Provide accurate inventory of all uniforms and athletic equipment.
Assist with the procurement of uniforms and equipment annually. Work with head coach regarding the design of uniforms.
Assist with the set-up of athletic courts prior to practices and the restoration to normal secure conditions.
Assist with the preparation of uniforms and equipment which is transported to away events and postseason events.
Provide oversight to maintaining a professional appearance to the game-day environment, working condition of equipment and regular maintenance needs.
Perform other job-related assignments as assigned by the Director of Basketball and Olympic Sports Equipment Operations (supervisor) and/or Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs.
Maintain knowledge of and comply with all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines of West Virginia University, the Big 12 Conference and the NCAA; must adhere to NCAA Bylaw 11.1 Conduct of Athletic Personnel. Failure to adhere to these policies will result in appropriate disciplinary action including possible suspension and termination.
Represent the University on the highest professional level with dignity, integrity, and strength of character and will exhibit ethical behavior; must respect the rights and dignity of individuals with sensitivity to problems that may arise from racial, ethnical and sexual orientation differences.
Faithfully and diligently execute related duties of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, as requested or assigned by supervisor and/or Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs.
