As an Equipment Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of a variety of machinery, including forklifts, cranes, aerial lifts, and maintenance vehicles. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company-owned equipment, including propane and battery forklifts, Versal-Lifts, cranes, aerial lifts (scissor and boom), and maintenance pick-up trucks.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Experience performing maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and aerial lifts.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
