About the Opportunity

As an Equipment Mechanic at EMR, you'll play a key role in our daily operations at our St. Paul, MN site. In this role, you'll work to troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial machinery and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment such as metal processors, electrical machinery, material handlers, loaders, and forklifts.
  • Perform inspections, diagnostics and routine maintenance
  • Dismantle, reassemble and install parts or new equipment with hand and power tools
  • Use a welder for repairs or fabricating items

Qualifications

  • One year of maintenance experience
  • Background in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical areas
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in repair of industrial equipment, heavy equipment and trucks

Compensation and Benefits

  • Monday - Saturday, first shift
  • Pay $28/hr, full-time, year-round
