Oak Grove School District has a total student enrollment of approximately 8,690 from grades TK-8. There are 15 elementary schools and 3 intermediate schools. Six out of seventeen schools receive Title I funds. Schools range from the highest student enrollment (730) to the lowest student enrollment (269). The percentage of English Learners is 29%, representing 56 languages spoken in the district.

### Requirements & Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possession of a valid Class B California Drivers License and Drivers License Information Request obtained from the California Department of Motor Vehicles. A copy of these items must be submitted with the application.
- Knowledge of the methods, materials, practices, and tools of the mechanics trade; the operation and repair characteristics of school buses, trucks, vans, automobiles, and other mechanically operated equipment; safety rules and regulations as they pertain to mechanical servicing, repair, gasoline and diesel engines, and their operation; gas and electrical welding as applied to mechanical repairs.
- Skill to understand and follow oral and written instructions; diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle and mechanical malfunctions safely; use and operate the tools, machines, and equipment associated with the mechanic trade; perform arc and gas welding; maintain appropriate maintenance records and files; establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements necessary to successfully perform required duties.
