Equipment Mechanic
Pay: $22.00 $35.00 per hour (DOE)
Location: Tulsa, OK 74127
Shift: Monday Friday | 7: 30 AM 4: 30 PM

Position Overview
The Equipment Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation. This Equipment Mechanic role involves troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems while performing preventative maintenance. The ideal Equipment Mechanic is experienced, safety-focused, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience as an Equipment Mechanic or similar role
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and powertrains
Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools
Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes
Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety purposes
Physically capable of lifting heavy components and working in demanding conditions
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, forklifts, graders, and cranes
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine servicing
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, and mechanical systems
Replace or repair faulty parts and components
Perform welding or fabrication repairs as needed
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
Communicate equipment issues and repair timelines with supervisors
Preferred Qualifications
Diesel mechanic certification or technical training
CDL or equipment operation experience
Experience in construction, mining, manufacturing, or industrial environments
Work Environment
Outdoor and/or shop environment
Exposure to noise, grease, oil, dirt, and heavy machinery
PPE required at all times
