What Youll Do
As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for:
Safely unloading log trucks and stacking logs in designated storage areas to maximize yard efficiency
Assisting in feeding logs into the chipper, supporting production workflows
Performing basic maintenance and routine care on heavy machinery, including wheel loaders, shovels, and cranes
Keeping the log yard organized and maintained to ensure safety and productivity
Supporting team efforts in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Experience operating heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, shovels, and forklifts (experience is helpful but not mandatory)
A mechanically inclined skill set with a willingness to learn and perform basic repairs and maintenance
Strong safety awareness and a commitment to operational safety standards
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift moderate loads as needed
A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

This is an on-site, field-based position in Lyons, Oregon, with a consistent MondayFriday schedule from 7am to 4:30pm. Some days may end earlier depending on workload.
