Heavy Equipment Operators – Haul Truck, Dozer & Excavator | Graysville, PA

TradeWorX is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for a site development and expansion project within an active coal preparation plant environment. We are seeking operators with varying skill levels across articulated haul trucks, dozers, and excavators. Equipment assignments and pay will be based on verified operating experience, safety awareness, and ability to work productively in active plant and mining conditions.

Pay & Overtime:

• $21–$30 per hour based on equipment experience and skill level
• Approximately 50–60 hours per week
• Overtime required based on project needs

Schedule:

• Night-shift availability required
• Extended shifts and weekend work may be required
• Start date: ASAP
• Long-term schedule will depend on project production needs

Job Duties:

• Operate articulated haul trucks to transport overburden, aggregate, and processed material safely along designated haul routes.
• Operate dozers to spread material, maintain work areas, perform rough grading, support access-road maintenance, and manage stockpile or fill areas.
• Operate excavators for digging, loading trucks, grading, ditching, material placement, and general site-development activities.
• Maintain safe production pace while monitoring ground conditions, machine stability, visibility, traffic, and nearby personnel.
• Complete pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns immediately.
• Communicate with ground personnel, spotters, supervisors, and other operators to coordinate safe equipment movement.

Requirements:

• Active MSHA certification required.
• Previous experience operating haul trucks, dozers, excavators, or comparable heavy equipment.
• Ability to explain which equipment you have operated independently and the work performed with each machine.
• Ability to work night shift, overtime, and approximately 50–60 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to meet applicable drug-screening and site-access requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

• Has verifiable operating experience in mining, plant, civil, excavation, or heavy site-development environments.
• Understands equipment limitations, safe operating distances, changing ground conditions, and production workflow.
• Can operate assigned equipment safely with the level of supervision appropriate to their experience.
• Communicates clearly and works effectively around other operators and ground personnel.
• Is dependable, safety-focused, and prepared for extended-hour schedules.
