Position Summary

As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of simple automated assembly machines. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of these machines, interpreting and responding to machine faults, and performing simple, repetitive tasks. You will play a vital part in maintaining the highest quality standards in medical device assembly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
• Read and understand procedures
• Safely operate equipment following company standards
• Start machines from a power-off state
• Perform work order setups in electronic batch records and inventory systems
• Operate machines, jigs, and fixtures to produce quality products
• Read and interpret gauges and dials
• Identify and rectify machine faults, restart machines
• Complete production records and documentation
• Inspect and test products for quality assurance
• Weigh, count, package, and label finished products
• Quickly learn to operate simple machines
• Demonstrate flexibility in operating multiple machines

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Able to perform visual inspections with and without magnification tools
• Ability to repetitively lift objects up to 20 lbs
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift

Preferences

• Basic Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer experience
• Previous experience in a similar role
