Drives trucks of various sizes and weights in the loading, delivery and unloading of crushed gravel, fill dirt, road chips, hot mix asphalt, cold mix asphalt and other necessary road or flood control construction and repair materials.Operates a variety of equipment to construct and repair roads and flood control projects, transport equipment, plow roads and performs other projects.Spreads slag/rock chips for sealing roads. Spreads road base for repair of unimproved roads or to shoulder improved roads. Performs manual labor such as loading and unloading trucks, trimming trees and bushes, cleaning curbs/catch basins, repairing fences, pouring and finishing concrete, filling and stacking sand bags when necessary. Cleans and maintains storm drains; sets up concrete foundation forms, sets up curb and gutter forms; assists in repairing and laying of pipe.
