Equipment Operator I

Job Summary
A leading company in the hospitality supply and distribution industry is seeking experienced Order Selectors for its Orlando, FL warehouse facility. These are temp-to-perm, full-time industrial positions supporting a dry goods (non-freezer) distribution environment. Multiple positions are available for immediate hire.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a double electric pallet jack and reach truck to select and move product
- Pick orders from floor-level and upper/high reach storage locations
- Build and secure pallets for outbound shipment
- Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift; team lift for items over 50 lbs
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned
- Maintain safety and efficiency standards while operating stand-up equipment only

Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of verifiable experience operating a double electric pallet jack (must be reflected in job history)
- Experience operating a reach truck; high reach experience required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and participate in team lifts for heavier items
- Comfortable operating stand-up equipment exclusively (no sit-down forklift experience required or used)
- No unexplained gaps in employment; candidates with gaps should provide explanation on resume
- Ability to pass group interview and onboarding process

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a distribution center or hospitality supply warehouse
- Familiarity with order selection processes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail for accurate order picking

About the Role
Contract Type: Temp-to-permanent
Location: Orlando, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (receiving team)
Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, for 1-2 weeks
Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Travel: None required
Compensation: Competitive rate
