Equipment Operator I

Job Summary
Our client, a leading company in the supply chain and distribution industry, is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Equipment Operator for their Plainfield, IN facility. This role supports daily warehouse operations and requires certified, hands-on experience operating multiple types of industrial equipment.

Contract Duration: Approximately 6 months (1,040 total hours)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 5:00 AM 1:30 PM (subject to change based on business needs)
Location: Plainfield, IN
Travel: None required

Key Responsibilities
- Operate Cherry Picker, Swing Reach, Stand-Up Forklift, and Sit-Down Forklift equipment
- Complete order picking and fulfillment tasks accurately and efficiently
- Perform load auditing and verification to ensure shipment accuracy
- Wrap and stage pallets for outbound shipping
- Flex across various warehouse functions based on workload and staffing needs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse procedures

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience operating Cherry Picker, Swing Reach, Stand-Up Forklift, and Sit-Down Forklift
- Prior industrial warehouse equipment experience clearly reflected on resume
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Flexibility to adapt to changing operational demands

Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification(s)
- Previous experience in a high-volume distribution or fulfillment center
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
