Equipment Operator I

Job Summary
A leading supply chain and logistics company is seeking experienced Warehouse Equipment Operators for its distribution facility in Sayreville, NJ. This is a contract industrial labor position requiring hands-on experience with a variety of warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate Raymond Reach Trucks and I-Warehouse machines
- Operate counterbalance forklifts and double blade pallet jacks
- Operate cherry pickers to fulfill order and stocking needs
- Utilize RF scanners for accurate inventory management
- Perform put-away and replenishment duties
- Maintain safety standards and warehouse organization

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating Raymond Reach Trucks and I-Warehouse machines
- General warehouse experience
- Experience operating counterbalance forklifts, double blade pallet jacks, and cherry pickers
- Ability to work standard schedule: Monday Friday, 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
- Willingness to work extended shifts up to 12 hours based on business demand
- Availability for a mandatory six-day work week during the first week of each month
- Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in high-volume distribution or logistics environments
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures

About the Role
This is a contract position with an estimated duration based on business needs, offering approximately 40 hours per week (2,000 total hours). The role is based on-site in Sayreville, NJ, with no travel required. Interviews will be conducted on-site prior to placement. Compensation: Competitive rate.
