Equipment Operator II

Overview

Operates and services various types of equipment and/or machinery such as a slickline truck and rig up/down equipment.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Cleans and maintains the slickline unit and other shop vehicle.Performs rig up/down of slickline truck and crane.Complies with company safety procedures ensuring a safe work environment.Submits accurate maintenance reports, driver logs, and other necessary daily paperwork.Inspects vehicles, mechanized devices and equipment communicating any component issues to management.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months related experience and/or training.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License Class B CDL. Class A CDL is preferred.
