Equipment Operator II

Start your new career as an Advanced Machine Operator with MAU in Neenah, WI. As an Advanced Machine Operator, you will safely operate high-speed, technologically advanced manufacturing equipment while performing troubleshooting, basic repairs, quality checks, and production reporting to support a high-performing manufacturing operation.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma, GED, Grade 12 certificate, or equivalent from a state and/or U.S. Department of Education-accredited institution
• 1-3 years of manufacturing or related industrial experience, or equivalent military education/training
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently ascend and descend stairs, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, and perform strong gripping hand functions
• Ability to wear required PPE, including ear, eye, and toe protection
• Ability to work in an environment with regular exposure to high noise levels, dust, and some chemicals
• Ability to work independently and complete multiple complex tasks simultaneously
• Basic mechanical, technical, or manufacturing skills or related experience preferred
• Demonstrated mechanical ability, including troubleshooting, problem identification, and resolution, preferred
• Previous or current experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with manufacturing equipment, industrial tractors, or forklifts strongly preferred

What You'll Do as an Advanced Machine Operator:

• Master manufacturing process elements, including troubleshooting, basic repairs, and quality checks
• Safely operate high-speed, technologically advanced manufacturing equipment
• Work effectively as a member of a high-performing team
• Maintain accurate and complete production, waste, delay, and quality reports
• Log and report production and quality results as required
• Demonstrate and promote a safety-first culture
• Promote and utilize the three obligations
• Promote and support Safety Observation, ETQ, and SIRA processes
• Support departmental housekeeping initiatives
• Maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process
• Perform required quality checks throughout each shift
• Support quality systems, including quality tracker, stand checks, bag/case weigher, and metal detector processes
• Understand how product attributes are measured for percent-on-target performance
