QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or possession of a General Educational Development Certificate (GED) and four years of experience in the operation of larger trucks and heavy equipment or an equivalent combination of training and experience per Personnel Policies and Procedures Section 128. Two years of experience can be substituted by successful completion of a special heavy equipment assessment conducted by the Safety and Training section of Human Resources.
Successfully complete the Heavy Equipment Operator Phase I, II, and III classes offered by the City of Tulsa Safety and Training section within six months of the date to position.

Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:00 pm

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Possession of a valid Oklahoma Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and must obtain a valid Oklahoma Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with applicable endorsements within six months of the date to position. Some positions within this classification may require an appropriate water/wastewater license as issued by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).
