SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, of the Street Supervisor this position operates heavy construction equipment in skilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance, and construction of paved and unpaved streets, alleys, or other City facilities. Generally, supervises a small crew or may oversee certain maintenance or construction work at various times. May be required on occasion to perform manual unskilled work.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Any combination of training and experience equivalent to eighth (10th) grade and at least five (5) years experience in the operation of medium and heavy construction equipment, three (3) of which are on a motor-grader. Possess a valid Texas Class "A" CDL Driver's License, with Tanker "N" endorsement. High school education is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee works outdoors in all types of weather conditions, frequent exposure to traffic, and in an environment with heavy equipment and machinery that could result in bodily harm to self, co-workers, or others.
