Equipment Operator - Immediate Start

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our construction team.

Duties

• Operate construction machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, and dump trucks to facilitate excavation, material transport, and site development activities.

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment including hydraulic systems, engines, and mechanical components to ensure safe operation.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during equipment operation.

• Assist in setting up construction sites by positioning and maneuvering heavy machinery accurately according to project specifications.

• Conduct pre-operation checks to identify potential issues and report any malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.

• Collaborate with team members to coordinate material handling and ensure efficient workflow across the site.

Requirements

• Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and safety protocols.

• Hands-on experience operating dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other construction machinery.

• Familiarity with occupational safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.

• Ability to perform routine inspections, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and conduct basic repairs when necessary.

• Knowledge of material handling equipment operation including forklifts or other specialized machinery is preferred.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

$27-30/hour
