As a member of the Airfield Maintenance team at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC), you will operate and maintain one of the most modern airport snow removal fleets in the nation while helping keep Alaskas largest airport operating safely year-round.
Primary Duties:
This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment, perform highly visible work critical to Alaskas transportation system, and develop skills across a diverse range of airport maintenance operations.
Our organization, mission, and culture:
Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airports mission is to safely develop, operate, and maintain a world-class transportation hub that serves Alaska and the global community. As Alaskas largest airport and the worlds third busiest cargo airport, ANC supports everything from general aviation and passenger travel to international cargo operations, while also serving as home to the worlds busiest seaplane base. Our Airfield Maintenance team takes pride in maintaining critical infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and keeping Alaska connected through safe, reliable, and efficient airport operations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

This position offers a unique opportunity to launch or build a career in aviation while working alongside one of the most respected airport maintenance teams in the industry. You will operate modern, specialized equipment rarely found outside of major international airports and gain experience that few careers can provide. For those passionate about aviation, there are few jobs more rewarding than working daily around aircraft while helping keep one of the worlds most important cargo airports open and operating regardless of weather conditions. The traveling public, airlines, cargo operators, and communities across Alaska depend on the airport remaining open, and you will be part of the team responsible for making that happen. In addition to meaningful and highly visible work, employees enjoy a generous benefits package and an excellent retirement plan.
