Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery safely and efficiently to support our projects and operations. This role is crucial for ensuring that our work meets quality standards and is completed on time. The schedule for this role is 6:00am 2:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime necessary at times. 

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Operate various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other machinery used in construction, mining, or other industrial activities.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
- Interpret and follow instructions from supervisors, plans, and blueprints to complete assigned tasks.
- Coordinate with co-workers and project managers to ensure efficient and accurate job performance.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with general labor tasks as needed.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as an Equipment Operator or similar role.
- Familiarity with construction and mining operations and equipment.
- Ability to operate multiple types of machinery safely.
- Strong understanding of safety measures and best practices.
- Excellent physical condition and stamina.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

**Education and Certifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certifications for specific equipment operation are preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
