Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Equipment Operators for projects located in and around Monticello, IN. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of $28-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Preparing and maintaining construction sites
Loading and unloading materials
Digging and backfilling trenches
Compacting soil
Laying pipe and repairing water leaks
Assisting Hydrovac truck operators
Setting up/dismantling bracing and scaffolding
Following blueprints and project plans
Safely operating equipment such as:
Excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, haul trucks, dump trucks (CDL required for dump truck operation)
Requirements:
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
OSHA 10 certification; TI offers the course to qualified candidates who have yet to obtain the certification
Physical ability to lift 50–75 pounds regularly
Flexibility to work varying hours
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
General construction experience preferred
Knowledge of earthmoving equipment & problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and grow in both residential and commercial projects
