Equipment Operator

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Equipment Operator to support projects across the state. The ideal candidate must have experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, dozers, and excavators, along with a strong understanding of site work, earthmoving, and utility installation. We are seeking someone who is committed to safety, reliability, and professionalism, with a proven track record and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, and other machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure safety standards are met, and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly
• Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, material movement, and logistical coordination to support project timelines.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively while adhering to deadlines and quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment (dozers, loaders, excavators) on construction sites.
• Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on machinery
• Experience with pipe and/or utility work is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and standards.
• Ability to work in varying weather and job site conditions
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
