We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently supporting our construction projects and helping shape the future of our community.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, backhoes, skid loaders, and all other earth moving equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Move earth, soil, and other building materials as required.
- Work with various types of pipe and demonstrate product knowledge.
- Use signals and operate ISO & ASE Cat/JD Controls for precision movements.
- Travel for local and out-of-town projects as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment and avoid inappropriate risks.
Qualifications
- Two years of experience operating earth moving equipment.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Can safely lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and climb out of ditches.
- Good team communication skills.
- Must wear proper protective equipment at all times.
- Reliable transportation to travel to jobsites.
- Valid state Drivers License.
- Experience with pipework.
- OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred.
