About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our client's team in the oil and gas sector. In this role, you will contribute to the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of products and services to customers. You will also play a key role in identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and assist field and maintenance crews with equipment preparation for operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
- Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
- Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
- Ensure individual and crew work safety.
- Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
- Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.
- Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
- Maintain the required safety training.
Requirements
- CDL preferred for local candidates; required for non-local candidates.
- Experience with high pressure cementing pump, articulated cementing bulk trucks, gooseneck iron and hose trailers, and field bulk equipment.
- NEST & HVT training required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Salary & Benefits
- Hourly pay rate: Competitive, depending on experience.
- Overtime is expected.
