What You'll Do as a Equipment Operator / System Cleaner:- Operate and monitor balers to compact and bale recyclable materials
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, forklifts, and hook trucks
- Clean, inspect, and maintain conveyors, balers, screens, magnets, and processing equipment
- Remove debris, material buildup, and blockages to support efficient facility operations
- Assist maintenance technicians with repairs, tool handling, and parts preparation
- Perform general housekeeping in processing, maintenance, and storage areas
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and PPE guidelines
What You Need to Bring to the Equipment Operator / System Cleaner Role:- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous industrial, recycling, waste, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift or equipment operation experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Ability to work in loud, dusty, hot/cold, and outdoor environments
- Ability to read and follow basic instructions, manifests, maps, and safety procedures
