Water Distribution and Water Service Sections
Class A CDL with tanker endorsement is required within 6 months of hire.

This position is deemed an Alpha position so you must have the ability to work in any emergency situations due to weather or operational issues. Must be available for inclement weather, mandatory standby duty, and overtime as needed.
Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of, and/or outside of, their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies. Emergency operations support work and work locations may be outside of normal job duties.

Required Qualifications
VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Requires completion of 10th grade in high school. A high school diploma, GED, or specialized vocational training is preferred.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standard, this position requires a minimum of three months of related, full-time equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
A construction or utility background is a plus.
