Basic Job Functions for Equipment Operator / Yard Driver:Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Operate a roll off truck to load and unload roll off boxes.
- 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 12p -8p and Rotating Friday/Saturday.
- Monitor, clean and inspect plant production equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Assist other workers as needed.
- Cleanup and other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications for Yard Driver:- Experience driving a straight truck, roll off truck, or box truck.
