You will lead the charge to investigate downtime events, develop reliability-centered maintenance strategies, and ensure existing equipment is supported to maintain operational excellence while partnering with maintenance, manufacturing engineering, and vendor teams to reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life.
Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
As a Sr. Reliability Engineer, you"ll start your day reviewing overnight equipment performance data and open RCFA actions. You"ll lead cross-functional investigations into downtime events, then shift to supporting active capital projects-reviewing designs for maintainability or commissioning new equipment. Afternoons may find you refining CMMS configurations, analyzing failure trends to adjust PM strategies, or mentoring engineers on reliability methodologies. No two days are identical, but every day centers on one mission: keeping production equipment running so satellites get built.
