Equipment Sales Representative

We are recruiting an experienced Equipment Sales Representative to take ownership of an established territory covering Western Tennessee and Northern Mississippi. This is a field-focused sales opportunity for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and growing a territory. You’ll inherit an existing book of business while also having the opportunity to bring in new customers and significantly expand the territory.

The primary focus is selling new compressed air equipment and related systems to industrial, manufacturing, commercial, and other equipment-intensive customers. If you have experience selling compressed air, industrial equipment, capital equipment, or technical products to a similar customer base this could be an excellent opportunity to take your sales career to the next level.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and grow an established customer base throughout Western Tennessee and Northern Mississippi
• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and consistent field activity
• Sell new compressed air equipment and related solutions
• Build relationships with owners, plant managers, maintenance leaders, purchasing teams, and other key decision-makers
• Visit customers to understand their operations, challenges, and equipment needs
• Identify opportunities for new equipment, replacements, upgrades, and system improvements
• Develop equipment recommendations based on customer applications and requirements
• Prepare and present quotes and proposals
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through negotiation and close
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities
• Work closely with internal service, parts, applications, and support teams to provide customers with complete solutions
• Stay current on products, compressed air technology, applications, and competitive offerings
• Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
• Work toward established sales and revenue goals while continuing to expand the territory

What We’re Looking For

• 3 + years of experience selling to manufacturing, industrial, commercial, or equipment-intensive customers preferred
• Industrial equipment, capital equipment, technical, or manufacturing sales experience strongly preferred
• Compressed air experience is a major plus
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow a sales territory
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable managing an existing book of business while creating new opportunities
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical products and applications
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and closing skills
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain a consistent sales pipeline
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent sales experience will be considered
