Equipment Service Operator

Shift: B Shift | Monday-Friday | 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Pay: $19.00-$20.00/hour
Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking an Equipment Service Operator to support manufacturing operations by cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and maintaining production equipment. This position plays a key role in ensuring equipment is production-ready while following cGMP standards, safety regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble vessels, pumps, process lines, and small equipment parts.
• Ensure equipment is properly cleaned, assembled, and available for Formulation and Coating operations.
• Follow all safety procedures, cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and emergency procedures.
• Process solution returns and determine appropriate disposition (reuse or disposal).
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report defective equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Verify equipment cleanliness before use and ensure proper setup.
• Prioritize workload to meet production schedules.
• Communicate equipment concerns and training progress with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently after completing training.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, bending, and walking throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects.
• Comfortable working in wet environments and around cleaning chemicals.
