Position Overview
The Equipment Sourcing Specialist is responsible for sourcing assets across the warehouse market while providing outstanding customer service. This role executes impactful equipment sourcing opportunities, facilitating communication with internal customers, and expediting logistical scenarios to lending and borrowing locations. This role acts as a liaison for warehouse inventory between internal regional leaders, venues, and corporate departments across the business.
Key Job Responsibilities
Equipment Sourcing and Efficiency
- Research and reserve equipment requirements using substitution options, risk analysis, availability review, multi-market scenarios, and other available data resources.
- Analyze equipment needs and create usage scenarios for maximum efficiency.
- Advise internal stakeholders on availability and confirmed usage.
Information Management & Analysis
- Contribute to product utilization through KPI performance goals.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams, project managers, and venue teams on equipment requirements and reservation practices.
- Assist in executing complex sourcing scenarios and long-term strategies to maximize usage of internal resources.
Customer Service
- Communicate clearly and thoroughly, both verbally and in writing, to clarify understanding, set expectations, and accurately meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with all divisions to ensure equipment needs are analyzed and that local and national resources are utilized for maximum cost-control.
- Assist with other duties as needed for supporting supply chain efficiency and processes.
Job Qualifications
- 3 + years of Audio-Visual industry experience or equivalent Supply Chain experience
- 3+ years of experience with audiovisual equipment
- Computer and information systems background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment while being able to think creatively and effectively to solve problems.
- High degree of commitment to service excellence
