These sites support 24/7 production of highly specialized technology components used across multiple industries. The campuses include clean-room environments, engineering labs, and high-volume production lines that require a diverse, skilled workforce.
Job Summary
We are seeking Entry-Level Equipment Technicians to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a mechanical or technical background who are eager to start a career in the semiconductor industry. Selected candidates will receive comprehensive training to develop expertise in operating and maintaining cutting-edge mechanical and electrical systems.
Job Description
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery
- Accurately log data and document all process activities
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in a cleanroom environment
- Assist in improving equipment performance and process efficiency
Skills Required
- Documented experience in a technical or mechanical field (e.g., previous job, military training, or technical/vocational school)
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Windows, and able to pass a technical assessment
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment wearing PPE (coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and spend long periods walking, standing, or sitting on the manufacturing floor
- Must have permanent U.S. work authorization
Education/Training/Certifications
- High school diploma or GED required
Additional Requirements
- Schedule notes: This role requires working a compressed work week on 12-hour shifts. You will work 3 days one week and 4 days the following week
- D Shift (Night): Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
