Job Purpose
Primary responsibility of an Equipment Maintenance Technician is to maintain and repair electro-mechanical and chemical equipment used in the production of semiconductor wafers in a clean-room environment. Equipment Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting, routine preventative maintenance, provide tool ownership, and participate in projects that improve equipment capabilities.

· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, robotic, and vacuum integrity problems
· Interact with production and engineering personnel to meet customer and production requirements
· Repair semiconductor processing equipment
· Communicate to Equipment Maintenance Manager parts that need to be ordered
· Perform routine maintenance on equipment
· Document and update tool PM specs in company Quality Management System
· Perform accurate calculations for the estimated cost of simple projects or providing service including labor, materials and equipment.

Preferred Education and Experience
Should have formal training on equipment in at least one ‘standard’ area of Fab; Etch, Lith, Diffusion, Implant, etc.
· Experience with TEL, LAM, AMAT Plasma Etchers, and/or Novellus and AMAT CVD Equipment is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
Skorpios embraces a Total Compensation philosophy that includes a base salary and eligibility for overtime for non-exempt roles.

Expected salary range: $30.00 – $55.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
The actual starting rate will be determined based on role-related criteria, including educational qualifications or equivalent experience, relevant work history, and the skills required for the role.
