Title: Equities Trade Support Consultant (Urgent requirement)

Location: NYC, NY 

Duration: 6 months (C2H)

Visa: CITIZEN, GC EAD, GREEN CARD, H4 EAD

Need Proper LinkedIn (300+ Connections, 2-3 years Old and Profile) DL and Visa with good Communication Skills Communication should be 10/10.
This is Mizuho Equities Trade Support position which is onsite in NYC (No Hybrid)
Candidates must be local to NYC. Last interview is onsite (No exceptions)
Trade Support Team supporting Equities applications.
 

Info from call with the team:

Must have experience working on Equities team.
Must have experience supporting Equities Traders.
Must have FIX protocols experience.
Must have some OMS experience. They use FlexTrade, but are open to others (Fidessa, Charles River, etc.).
Front Office position, will also deal with compliance, middle and back office, COO, etc. 
Sit on Trade Floor (40-50 Traders) 
Strong support experience on the business side of Equities.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Work day is 8:00-5:00, 100% onsite (4 days onsite down the road).
 

Job Description:

Provide direct front-office technology support to Equities traders, middle office users, and Compliance teams on the trading floor 
Monitor trading platforms and FIX network connectivity to ensure system stability and availability 
Diagnose and resolve real-time trading issues, including detailed investigation of compliance-related inquiries 
Communicate major incidents, impacts, and resolution status clearly to key stakeholders and senior management 
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from traders, ensuring proper tracking, prioritization, and transparency 
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for vendor and internal development teams to deliver enhancements 
Share end-to-end business workflows with Support and QA teams to strengthen regression testing and operational readiness 
Maintain and continuously improve the knowledge base, support runbooks, scripts, and technical documentation
Over 5 years of experience supporting mission-critical front-office trading applications within Equities, including U.S. Market Making, ETFs, Electronic Trading, Global Program Trading, and Convertible Bonds 
Strong understanding of high-touch trading workflows, FIX protocol, OMS platforms, IOI processing, market data, and CTM flows, Tidal or other scheduler systems 
Proven experience handling regulatory and compliance-driven requests and inquiries, including Reg NMS, Reg SHO, CAT, ACT, ORF, and TRACE 
Proficient with, SQL querying, JIRA for issue tracking, and Excel for operational analysis and reporting 
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across front office, middle office, and control functions 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail 
Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize and execute effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment 
Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus
